37 weeks!

Here is the latest picture of Cameron. Once again he is covering his face with his hands! I went to see my doctor today and we decided to be induced next Friday permitting the hospitals schedule. I am glad it's getting close! Kevin was a bit surprised when I told him the news. My mom is on pins and needles. We will keep you posted as the day gets closer.

36 weeks and couting

Today we went in for another ultrasound as my doctor wanted Cameron's weight to be checked because of the gestestional diabetes. Well he's up to 7 1/2 pounds and measuing at 37 weeks 6 days. We will most likely have him early, no complaints here! Cameron was much more cooperative today and kept his hands down so we could get some great images. I think he was just showing off for Grandma Reinesch who was able to go with me. We are definetly getting anxious for him to arrive. The nursery is just about ready and Kevin has put all the baby toys and gear together. Can't wait for him to arrive. We will keep you posted.

Skiing in Utah Feb 08

Earlier this year I went skiing with Kellie and Susie in Utah. Mom came along as well. We had a lot of fun hitting the slopes. Kellie and Susie are a lot more gutsy when it comes to the more difficult runs though. I'm a chicken I must say. We spent our first day at Deere Valley which was my favorite. The second day we went to Park City but got snowed out towards the end of the day so what did we do? We found the outlet stores and did some shopping! We had a great time visiting some of the local restaurants and drinking a few choice beverages to keep us warm. What a great time!

Cameron Pope

As many of you know Kevin and I struggled to become pregnant for over two years. So when we finally got the call back in March that we were pregnant we could hardly wait to become parents. This was such a special day one I will never forget. We then had to wait till July to find out what we were having. I knew it was a boy but the verdict was still out. We went in for the ultrasound and had the tech right down on a piece of paper what we were having and place it into an envelope. Wow was that hard not to look but Kevin took it as he has more will power. We then met with my family for dinner and called Kevin's family in CA to open the envelope together. I have never seen Kevin so excited to learn he was going to have a son. What a great moment! I think the grandpas were equally excited. Our journey from there has been pretty good. A few bumps and scares in the road but we are now on the downward slope with about 5 or 6 weeks to go. Kevin has completed the nursery now I have to add my touch with a few decorations etc. Here are some of the pictures we have taken over the last several months. Enjoy!
